Hospital Stay Checklist
Items you should bring to the hospital for a joint replacement surgery:
- Bathrobe, underwear, socks
- Trainers with a wide foot opening, comfortable clothing
- Comfortable shoes (e.g. slippers, sneakers) with non-slip rubber soles, good support, and easy entry (e.g. Velcro fastening), a long shoehorn
- All medications you take regularly (ideally in their original packaging)
- Glasses / hearing aid / dentures / walking aids (if applicable)
- Diary/planner and address book
- optional: Reading material, laptop

The practice is easily accessible both by public transport and by car. From Bern train station, the practice can be reached in 5 minutes. Parking is available at the Metro or Bahnhof parking garage.
